- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- peaches - 3 c
How to make peach cake:
Cream 1 cup sugar and butter; add milk, almond extract, baking powder and flour. Pour over peaches. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and salt; pour over batter. Pour water over all. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Peaches.
