Pasta pizza
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- ground beef - 8 oz
- Italian seasoning - 1/2 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella - 1 c
- jar sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 1/2
- can Italian style tomatoes - 1 1/2
- spiral macaroni - 2 c
- medium pepper, cut into strips - 1 item
How to make pasta pizza:
Cook pasta and drain. For pasta crust, in a large bowl, combine egg, milk and Parmesan cheese. Stir in pasta. Spread pasta mixture evenly in a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. In large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain fat. Add pepper, undrained tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes until most of liquid evaporates. Stir in mushrooms. Spoon meat mixture over pasta crust. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more or until cheese is melted. Cut into wedges. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Pizza.
