  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • snipped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • Italian seasoning - 1 Tbsp
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • can mushrooms
  • slices bread, torn small - 3 item

How to make manicotti:

Tomato Sauce:1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste1/4 c. chopped onion1 clove garlic, minced4 c. water1/2 tsp. sugar1 Tbsp. Italian seasoning1/2 tsp. pepper1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese Cook meat and 1/4 cup onion. Drain. Remove from heat and stir in rest of meat filling. Fill uncooked shells, packing the filling into both ends. Place in uncooked shells, packing the filling into both ends. Place in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Heat mushrooms with liquid and remaining ingredients, except cheese, to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Pour sauce over shells. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375° until shells are tender, 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Sprinkle cheese. Cool for five to ten minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
