Lasagna with white sauce
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Italian seasoning
- tomato paste - 2 Tbsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella
- can tomatoes with liquid, cut up - 1 item
- to 12 uncooked lasagna noodles - 10 item
How to make lasagna with white sauce:
In Dutch oven, cook beef and onion until meat is brown; drain. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, bouillon and seasonings. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.White Sauce: Melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk. Bring to boil; cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cheese. Pour half of meat sauce into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with half of noodles. Cover with remaining meat. Top with noodles. Pour sauce over noodles; sprinkle with cheese. Cover; bake at 400° for 40 minutes.
