Pasta al forno
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onion - 2 c
- ground beef - 2 lb
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1 lb
- sliced mushrooms - 1 lb
- spaghetti sauce - 1 qt
- red wine - 1/2 c
- short macaroni tubes - 1 lb
How to make pasta al forno:
Cook macaroni in boiling water 7 minutes; drain. Brown loose beef with onion. Add mushrooms; cook 3 minutes. Stir in sauce and wine. Add cooked macaroni and stir together. Pour into 2 (9 x 12-inch) baking dishes. Cover with cheese. Cover pans with foil and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 12.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
