Ingredients/Components

  • freshly grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
  • pesto sauce - 4 5
  • linguini, spaghetti or spaghettini - 1 lb
  • freshly ground white pepper or to taste - 1/4 tsp
  • extra Parmesan cheese garnish - 1 item

How to make pasta al pesto:

Drop pasta into salted boiling water and cook until al dente, just tender. Drain pasta in colander. Toss with pesto, cheese and pepper to taste. Serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese on the side.
