Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth bouillon works good - 1 c
- water - 1 c
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- cooked, diced chicken - 2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can chow mein noodles - 1 oz
How to make oriental chicken:
Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add flour and continue to stir over medium heat until bubbly. Add broth, water, soy sauce, garlic powder, chicken and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cool. (This can be frozen in a 1-gallon bag.)To prepare for serving, thaw chicken. Heat in a pan until bubbly. Serve over chow mein noodles. Makes 4 servings.
