Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 item
- butter - 1 item
- large onions, sliced - 4 item
- egg yolk, beaten - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled and sliced - 5 lb
How to make onion mashed potatoes:
Cook potatoes. Mash with milk and butter. Cook onions. Brown onions in butter or oil. Mix into potatoes very well. Cook in casserole dish, uncovered. Brush top with egg yolk. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until top is brown.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
