Broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- broccoli - 1 lb
How to make broccoli casserole:
Cook broccoli until just tender. Drain and place in 2-quart casserole dish. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in pan and stir in flour. Cook together for a few minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and blend in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer until thickened. Add pepper and salt. Pour over broccoli in casserole dish. Combine stuffing, water and one half cup of butter. Spoon on top of casserole, pressing down, if necessary. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
