Ingredients/Components

  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • paprika - 1 item
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • white pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • seasoned salt - 3/4 tsp
  • grated sharp Cheddar - 1/2 c
  • Vidalia onions - 1 lb
  • nonfat condensed milk - 1 c

How to make onion casserole:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 8 x 8-inch Pyrex pan. Peel and slice onions and separate into rings. Put into a medium sized saucepan and cover with hot water. Boil 1 minute. Drain well. Spread onions evenly in the 8 x 8-inch pan. Sprinkle with the parsley.

In small mixing bowl, beat egg. Add milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onions. Sprinkle with cheese. Dust with paprika. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serves 6.
