- boiling water
- brown sugar - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- raisins or dates - 1/2 c
- nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- butter
- cream or canned milk - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- Angel Flake coconut - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make oatmeal cake:
