Nantucket cranberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- raw cranberries - 2 c
How to make nantucket cranberry pie:
Wash and pick over cranberries. Place on bottom of greased 10-inch pie pan (square or oblong pan may be used). Sprinkel with 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts. Mix together 1 cup sugar and melted margarine, then add flour, almond extract and beaten eggs. Mix well. Pour batter over cranberries. Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
