Nantucket cranberry pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- melted butter
- fresh, whole cranberries - 2 c
- walnuts but pecans can be substituted - 1/2 c
How to make nantucket cranberry pie:
Batter:3/4 c. melted butter1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. flour2 eggs Place cranberries and walnuts in bottom of 10-inch pie plate. Mix batter, blending sugar and melted butter together. Add eggs. Continue mixing. Add flour, mixing just until flour is blended. Pour batter over cranberry/nut mix on bottom of pie dish. Bake at 325° for 30 to 40 minutes.
