Mushroom tarts
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- mushrooms, finely chopped - 1/2 lb
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- small patty shells - 2 doz
- onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- sour cream - 1/2 c
How to make mushroom tarts:
Heat butter in skillet; add onion and cook until yellow. Add mushrooms; cook about 3 minutes. Sprinkle in seasonings and flour. Stir. Add sour cream; cook and stir until thickened. Cool. Fill tarts and bake 10 to 15 minutes in 450° preheated oven. Can be made ahead, baked or frozen and heated when needed. Makes 2 dozen tarts.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Mushroom.
