  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • garlic clove, minced - 1 item
  • white pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • white wine - 1/2 c
  • chicken breasts - 4 item
  • chicken stock - 1/2 c
  • Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • mushrooms, chopped - 8 item
  • salt, pepper and flour - 1 item
  • celery powder - 1 tsp

How to make monterey chicken:

Place chicken breasts between two sheets of waxed paper and pound until thin. Lightly sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour. Melt 1/4 cup butter in a skillet and quickly saute breasts until golden. Remove and set aside. Preheat oven to 350°. Melt r
