Monterey chicken
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- red wine vinegar - 1/2 c
- white pepper - 1 tsp
- green onions - 1/2 c
- diced tomato - 1 c
- crushed red pepper - 1 tsp
- barbecue sauce - 4 c
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- granulated garlic - 2 Tbsp
- crumbled bacon - 1/2 lb
- to 8 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned - 6 item
How to make monterey chicken:
Bake chicken at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Brush with barbecue sauce and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese melts. Sprinkle with bacon, onion and tomato and serve.Note: Published by Heritage Home for Children, P. O. Box 879, Milton, Florida 32572.
