Mom's meat loaf
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- sage - 1/3 tsp
- hamburger - 1 lb
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- green pepper, minced - 1/2 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- enough crushed cornflakes to stiffen, 2-3 cups
How to make mom's meat loaf:
In a large bowl put all except meat and cornflakes. Mix well. Add meat and mix. Add cornflakes and mix until loaf hold its shape. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350° for 45 minutes. Put lid on when top is brown.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Meatloaf.
