Moist oatmeal cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- unsweetened applesauce - 1/2 c
- Mazola oil - 1/2 c
- quick Quaker oats - 3 c
- raisins or chopped dates - 1 c
How to make moist oatmeal cookies:
Sift together in a large bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Then add oats, raisins or dates and nuts. Mix and add the oil, applesauce, eggs, milk and vanilla.This recipe should not be mixed with a mixer. Just mix with a large mixing spoon. (Eggs need not be beaten before mixing.)
Blend ingredients as listed. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray. Drop cookies on sheet and bake at 375° to 400° depending on oven. Yields approximately 6 dozen cookies.
