Mexican fudge
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- whipping cream - 1 pt
- white sugar - 3 c
- Karo syrup white - 1 c
- pecans, chopped 2 1/2 c - 10 oz
How to make mexican fudge:
Combine sugar, syrup, whipping cream and pecans. Bring to boil and cook until forms soft but firm ball, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon. Takes approximately 1 hour. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes. Add vanilla and salt and beat until very firm until it starts clinging together in a ball. Takes about 20 minutes of beating. Pour into greased 9 x 13 cake pan.
