Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- hamburger - 2 lb
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 1/4 tsp
- Morton Tender Quick salt
- peppercorn optional - 1 tsp
How to make salami:
Mix together and make a roll 12-inches long. Wrap in aluminum foil with shiny side in. Refrigerate 21 hours. Poke holes in bottom of foil (underneath side). Place on rack of broiler pan with 1/2 to 1-inch of water in bottom of pan. Water should not touch foil. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325°.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Meat, Beef.
