- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- grated cheese - 1 c
- cream-style corn - 1 c
- chopped jalapeno peppers - 2 item

How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix all ingredients together well in a large bowl. Grease a large deep skillet. Pour 1/2 of batter into the skillet. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese; then top with remaining batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
