Mexican corn bread
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 4 oz
- cream-style corn - 3/4 c
- jalapeno peppers, chopped - 2 item
- self-rising meal - 2 c
- vinegar from canned jalapeno peppers - 1 Tbsp
How to make mexican corn bread:
Mix all ingredients together, leaving out 1/2 of Cheddar to sprinkle over top. Pour mixture into 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 450° until done. Um Um good.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Breads, Mexican.
