Melt in your mouth chicken
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- melted butter or margarine - 1 c
- chicken stock or broth - 2 c
- cooked chicken breasts or 4 sliced, cooked turkey breasts - 4 item
How to make melt in your mouth chicken:
Line a casserole dish with chicken. In a saucepan, mix chicken broth and cream soup. Heat and stir until smooth consistency. Pour over chicken and salt and pepper to taste. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, melted butter and buttermilk. Stir until smooth. Pour over chicken. Cook at 425° for 30 minutes. Yields 4 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
