Crunchy chicken casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- can sliced water chestnuts - 1 1/2
- parsley, chopped - 1 Tbsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- chopped pimento - 1/4 c
- celery salt - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted - 1 1/2
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1/2 c
- French fried onion rings - 1/2 c
How to make crunchy chicken casserole:
Combine all ingredients, except onion rings and cheese. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle onion rings and cheese over the top. You can also add 1/2 cup onions (chopped) and 1 cup tuna (rinsed and drained). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
