  • milk - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 4 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item

How to make melt in your mouth biscuits:

Blend dry ingredients and shortening. Add milk and egg. Knead slightly. Roll or pat out and cut. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
