Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- mustard - 1 tsp
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- black pepper - 3/4 tsp
- onion, sliced - 1 item
- green pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- carrots, cooked and drained - 2 lb
How to make marinated carrots:
Sauce:1 c. sugar1/2 c. oil1/2 c. vinegar1 tsp. mustard1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. black pepper1 c. tomato sauce1 onion, sliced1 green pepper, cut in strips Sauce: Bring all ingredients to a boil, except onion and green pepper. Add the sliced onion and green pepper strips. Pour over carrots. Refrigerate several hours.You may serve either hot or cold.
