Linguine with sweet pepper sauce
Ingredients/Components
- honey - 1 tsp
- red wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- olive oil - 2 tsp
- cloves minced garlic - 3 item
- minced shallots - 1 Tbsp
- chopped sweet peppers
- linguine, cooked - 8 oz
- chopped fresh basil or oregano - 1/4 c
How to make linguine with sweet pepper sauce:
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the peppers, onions, shallots, garlic and basil or oregano. Cook on medium-low until vegetables are soft and wilted, about 20 minutes. Stir in the vinegar and honey. Toss 1/4 of the pepper sauce with the linguine. Divide the linguine between 4 plates. Top each serving with the remaining sauce.
