Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- Parmesan cheese - 5 oz
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Ricotta cheese
- small diced onion - 1 item
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- bunch chopped parsley - 1/2 item
- large cans pureed tomatoes - 2 item
- pepper, garlic salt, oregano and basil - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese or Jack cheese - 5 oz
How to make stuffed shells:
Cheese Stuffing:1 lb. Ricotta cheese1/2 bunch chopped parsley5 oz. Parmesan cheese5 oz. Mozzarella cheese or Jack cheese2 eggs salt and pepper Marinara Sauce: Chop and brown onion and garlic in 3 to 4 tablespoons oil. Add tomatoes and spices to taste. Cook for 2 hours.Cheese Stuffing: Mix Ricotta with eggs. Add Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley; mix well. Add Mozzarella and salt and pepper to taste.
Shells: Parboil shells and stuff. Put layer of sauce on bottom of baking dish and on top of shells. Top shells with a little Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. May be frozen before baking.
