Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- hot water - 1 c
- lemon rind - 1/2 tsp
- juice of 2 lemons
How to make lemon sauce:
Combine eggs, sugar, flour, lemon juice and rind, pinch of salt and margarine. Add hot water and stir thoroughly. Cook over medium heat until thick, but do not boil. Serve over cake or pudding.Recipe categories: Desserts, Sweet sauces, Sauces.
