  • sugar - 2 2/3
  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • lemon flavoring

How to make lemon pound cake:

Combine margarine, Crisco, salt, sugar, flour and milk, and mix until well blended. Add baking powder and flavoring. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
