- sugar - 2 2/3
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 1 c
- lemon flavoring
How to make lemon pound cake:
Combine margarine, Crisco, salt, sugar, flour and milk, and mix until well blended. Add baking powder and flavoring. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
