- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- Italian sausage mild or hot or both sliced diagonally - 1 lb
- large peppers 1 red and 1 green, cut lengthwise in 1/2 inch strips - 2 item
- large or small onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
How to make italian sausage and peppers:
Cook sausage in skillet until well browned on all sides. (A combination of mild and hot sausage makes an extra flavorful dish.) Pour off fat. Add peppers, onion and oregano; toss with sausage and cook another 8 minutes.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Italian, European.
