Italian chicken
Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chicken, cut up - 1 item
- iodized salt - 1/2 tsp
- chicken fat - 1/2 c
- jar Italian cooking sauce - 1 item
- garlic clove, diced - 1 item
- onion, cut - 1 item
- hot cooked spaghetti or rice
How to make italian chicken:
Heat skillet to 350°. Season pieces of chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in oil. Add onion, garlic and cooking sauce. Cover and reduce to low heat. Simmer. Cook until meat is tender, 20 to 30 minutes. Serve with spaghetti or over cooked rice. Serves 4 or more.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
