  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla
  • pkg
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
  • pecans - 2 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • oil or butter
  • chopped bananas - 2 c
  • bananas and more sugar optional - 1 item

How to make hummingbird cake:

Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 c. butter, softened1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla bananas and more sugar (optional) Cake: Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs and butter; stir until moist. Add vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup nuts and bananas. Spoon batter into three 9-inch pans. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.

Frosting: Frost each layer; sprinkle with nuts.
