Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cooking oil - 1 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- small can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 item
- chopped bananas - 2 c
- box 10x sugar - 1 item
- Add baking powder, salt, vanilla and cinnamon
How to make hummingbird cake:
Cream sugar and eggs; add cooking oil and flour. Add baking powder, salt, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix well. Add pineapple, nuts and bananas. Bake in 4 (9-inch) pans at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes, until done. Cool and frost.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1/2 c. butter1 box 10x sugar1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter; add softened cream cheese. Mix in sugar and vanilla.
