Hummingbird cake
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salad oil
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- vanilla
- bananas, chopped - 2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
How to make hummingbird cake:
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and salad oil, stirring until ingredients are moistened. Do not overbeat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, pecans and bananas. Pour batter into three (9-inch) cake pans, floured and greased. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, oleo and vanilla together. Add pecans. Ice cake.
