Ginger crinkles
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 2/3 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 4 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- flour
- soda - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1 tsp
How to make ginger crinkles:
Mix oil with sugar. Add egg and beat well. Stir in molasses and vinegar. Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger. Add to molasses mixture. Drop by teaspoonful in 1/4 cup sugar and form balls. Cover with sugar. Bake on ungreased pan at 350° for 8 minutes. They rise and get light brown. Watch and take from oven as they begin to fall.
