Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- meal - 1 c
How to make hot water cornbread:
Mix dry ingredients well. Quickly stir in water and drop by teaspoonful into hot oil or shortening. Fry until golden brown. If desired, make into patties.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Flat Shaped breads.
