Hot crab dip
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce
- mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp
- cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/4 c
- pinch of garlic salt - 1 item
- crab meat or imitation - 1/2 lb
How to make hot crab dip:
Remove cartilage from crab meat and chop. In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and garlic salt until smooth. Add enough milk to make mixture creamy. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the grated cheese. Fold crab meat into cheese mixture. Pour into greased 1-quart casserole. Top with remaining cheese. Bake at 325° uncovered until mixture is bubbly and brown on top, about 30 minutes. Garnish with paprika. Best served with Ritz crackers!Recipe categories: Appetizers, Dips, Crab.
