Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- cans minced clams - 2 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- dashes Tabasco - 2 item
- dashes cayenne pepper - 2 item
- crumbled Velveeta cheese or Cheddar - 1 c
How to make hot clam dip:
In saucepan, simmer clams and lemon juice for 15 minutes. In another saucepan, simmer onion, garlic, pepper, parsley, butter, oregano, Tabasco and cayenne until soft. Combine two mixtures. Stir in bread crumbs. Place in ovenproof dish. Top with crumbled cheese. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese; dust with paprika.
