Ingredients/Components

  • can Tender bits - 2 cans
  • chopped celery - 2 c
  • cooked rice - 2 c
  • dehydrated onions - 2 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 1 c
  • water chestnuts, sliced - 1 c
  • cans mushroom soup - 2 item
  • to 5 boiled eggs, chopped - 3 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • Freeze without topping
  • corn flake crumbs - 1 c
  • slivered almonds - 1/2 c

How to make hot chicken salad:

Bake 20 to 40 minutes at 350°. (Freeze without topping.) Combine ingredients and put in large flat pan (1-quart). Mix margarine and crumbs, then sprinkle top. Then sprinkle with almonds. Cover with foil. Bake.Topping:1/2 c. margarine1 c. corn flake crumbs1/2 c. slivered almonds
