Hot chicken salad
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 2 c
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- minced onion - 1 tsp
- cream of chicken soup - 3/4 c
- crushed potato chips
- chopped almonds - 2/3 c
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- hard-cooked eggs, sliced - 4 item
- pimentos, cut fine - 2 item
- cold, cut up chicken - 4 c
How to make hot chicken salad:
Combine all except cheese, potato chips and almonds. Place in large rectangular dish. Top with cheese, chips and almonds. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, One Dish meal.
