egg - 1 item
maraschino cherries - 1 c
pineapple chunks - 1 c
skinned and boned chicken breasts, sliced into strips - 6 item
lemons, sliced thin and quartered - 2 item
Batter:3 parts flour to 1 part cornstarch
Lemon Sauce: lemon juice, sugar and different fruit juices
cornstarch-water base - 1 item

How to make lemon chicken:

Batter:3 parts flour to 1 part cornstarch1 egg1/2 tsp. baking powder1 c. oil Lemon Sauce: lemon juice, sugar and different fruit juices cornstarch-water base Dip chicken breasts into batter and deep fry until crisp. In a wok, quickly stir-fry crisp chicken strips with lemon wedges, cherries and pineapple chunks. Add 1 to 2 cups of lemon sauce. Stir quickly. Blend in a mixture of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce.
