Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • sour cream - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/4 c
  • eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
  • salt and pepper as desired - 1 item
  • finely chopped onions optional - 1/4 c
  • about 12 medium potatoes, peeled and cooked hot - 3 lb

How to make holiday mashed potatoes:

In a large bowl or pot, mash potatoes with mixer or by hand until lumps are removed. Add cream cheese in small pieces and butter. Beat well until cheese and butter are melted. Mix in the sour cream. Combine milk, eggs and onions; add to potato mix
