Mashed potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- about 12 white potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed - 3 lb
How to make mashed potato casserole:
When potatoes are mashed, add cream cheese in small pieces and butter. Beat until completely mixed in. Add sour cream, eggs, milk, onion, salt and pepper. Beat until fluffy. Pour mixture into greased 9-inch casserole (round) and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until lightly brown. Prepare a day ahead for best flavor.
