Healthy carrot bread
Ingredients/Components
- whole wheat flour - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 Tbsp
- raisins - 1 c
- pecans or walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- honey - 1 c
- ground or grated carrots - 2 c
How to make healthy carrot bread:
Stir first 5 ingredients together. Blend next 5 ingredients in order given. Stir all together easily with minimum strokes. Turn into an oiled and floured baking ring. Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until knife inserted comes out clean.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Quick breads.
