Hawaiian wedding cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- confectioners sugar
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- large can crushed pineapple not drained - 1 item
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- shredded coconut optional - 1 item
How to make hawaiian wedding cake:
Frosting:1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or oleo1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla shredded coconut (optional) Cake: Mix all ingredients together. Mix well, but do not use electric mixer. Bake at 350° in 9 x 13-inch round, greased pan for 40 to 45 minutes. (Usually it is done in 40 minutes.)Frosting: Mix to a spreadable consistency. Add a little milk, if needed. Sprinkle coconut over the frosted cake (optional).
