Hash brown potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions
- frozen hash browns 24 oz - 2 pkg
- cartons sour cream - 2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- margarine - 1/4 lb
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- crushed corn flakes - 2 c
How to make hash brown potato casserole:
Saute onions in margarine. Mix in partially thawed potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese and salt. Top casserole with 2 cups crushed corn flakes. Bake 45 minutes at 350°. Can be made a day ahead, reserving the corn flakes until ready to bake. Serves 16.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
