Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • minced onion - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic salt to taste - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 8 oz
  • 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
  • frozen hash browns - 2 lb
  • cornflakes - 2 c

How to make hash brown casserole:

Partially defrost hash browns. Mix ingredients except 1/2 stick margarine and corn flakes. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Melt remaining margarine and mix with corn flakes and spread on top. Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serves 12.
