Ingredients/Components
- can white Shoe Peg corn, drained - 1 item
- can green peas, drained
- can French style green beans, drained - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- green or red pepper, chopped may use both for color - 1 med
- sugar
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make green pea salad:
MARINADE1 c. sugar1/2 c. salad oil1/2 c. vinegar1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. pepper Cook marinade in saucepan until sugar dissolves. Let cool completely and pour over vegetables. Let marinate overnight. Will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Salads, Side dish.
