Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- fine dry bread crumbs
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef
- can onion soup - 1 item
How to make salisbury steak:
Combine 1/3 cup soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well. Shape into 6 oval patties. Brown patties in skillet; drain. Add remaining soup, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Blend 1/4 cup water into flour until smooth. Stir into soup mixture. Cook, covered, over low heat for 20 minutes.
